What you receive

Basic scans are free. When available, a $29 USD one-time purchase unlocks one AI-assisted diagnostic report prepared from your submitted evidence: a likely explanation, suggested steps, and checks for you to run. A corrected snippet is included only when the evidence supports one. Preview the prepared report before deciding to pay.

DebugSmith does not access a private repository, execute your code, install fixes, or test your project. Suggestions can be incomplete or incorrect. Review changes and test them in a safe copy of your project before deployment. There is no subscription or recurring charge.

Payment and delivery

Stripe handles checkout and payment details. Apple Pay and Google Pay appear only when enabled and supported by the customer's device, location, and wallet. Delayed payment methods unlock the report after payment succeeds.

Your report is tied to the browser that created its preview using an essential, private cookie. Return to that browser after payment. Keep the report link and download a copy within 30 days of preview creation. Clearing cookies, using private browsing, or switching browsers can prevent access. This release has no account login or automatic email recovery.

If checkout is unavailable, no purchase can be made. Retrying an existing report reuses its checkout; do not create a new paid order to recover an earlier purchase.

Purchase help and refund requests

If a confirmed payment does not deliver the prepared report, contact support with the report ID and Stripe receipt details so we can restore delivery or refund that purchase. Report duplicate charges for review. Do not send card numbers, passwords, or private source code in a support request. This policy does not limit any rights that apply to your purchase.

Privacy Policy

Text-only basic checks run in your browser. Public URL checks send evidence to the DebugSmith server to inspect the URL's initial public HTTP response and metadata. We do not run its JavaScript or sign in to private websites.

AI previews send the submitted evidence through Vercel AI Gateway to its model provider. Remove credentials, personal information, and customer records before submission. Secret redaction is best effort. Providers process requests under their own service and data policies.

Generated AI reports may contain excerpts of your source and are encrypted in the report database. Unpurchased previews expire from storage after two days; starting checkout extends storage up to 30 days from preview creation. We store report IDs, payment references, timestamps, and a hashed browser access token to support delivery. A private browser cookie expires after 90 days. Payment records remain with Stripe under its retention policies. A refund closes report access.

We do not store card numbers or log submitted code in the application. Hosting and payment providers may retain operational or transaction records. Only submit material you have permission to share. Contact support about report data using its ID.

Updates and current information

Official documentation is reviewed periodically to identify useful, tested updates. Updates are released after review; version numbers and dates describe an actual release. AI reports do not automatically search the web, continuously retrain themselves, or guarantee the latest API behavior. Include relevant framework versions and logs when requesting a diagnosis.
